Valencia started their season very poorly but after the new manager was appointed things are much better still they find themselves in the 18th spot in the relegation zone.

Due to their inconsistent performance, they are not able to get positive results but still a lot of matches are left to be played and anything can happen. Facing the Roje Blancos at home will be a difficult task for sure but they are capable of beating them but they will have to be at their best to get a point from them. If they are able to get a bunch of good results in the upcoming fixtures surely they will be out of danger.

Atletico Madrid have dropped points in two consecutive fixtures, against Madrid and Celta Vigo, with both matches ending in draws. They missed a great opportunity to become the league leaders once again over Madrid and FC Barcelona but now they find themselves in the third spot with 50 points on the table.

Each game and point will matter now as the title race of LaLiga is heating up. Simeone’s men have struggled against teams who play low block and surely against Valencia, they will have to keep their patience and follow their plan very well. This will be a mouthwatering clash for sure.

The winner of the club’s last meeting was Atletico Madrid. When Valencia lead 1-0 at home, they win 58% of their matches. The average number of goals in meetings between Valencia and Atletico Madrid is 2.4.

Thierry Correia will not be available for the home team’s upcoming fixture. The rest of the squad is fit and available to play.

The Roje Blancos will miss Pablo Barrios due to suspension. The rest of the players are fit to play against Valencia.
