Inter have won 8 of their last 9 matches against Roma in all competitions

Inter Milan will take on Roma on Sunday, 27 April in a huge match at the top of the Serie A league table.
Inter Milan are now top only by goal difference following their 1-0 defeat to Bologna last week, and after crashing out of the Coppa Italia in the week, a match against Roma is likely the last thing they need.
Roma, who have been sensational under Claudio Ranieri over the past five months, are just three points behind Bologna in the race for the top four, so they have plenty of incentive to win this one, too.
Inter’s status as favourites for this match is reaffirmed by their recent record against Roma. Simone Inzaghi’s side have won their last four matches against the Giallorossi, including a 1-0 win at the Stadio Olimpico in the reverse fixture earlier this season. Roma’s last win over Inter Milan came in October 2022, when they ran out as 2-1 winners at the San Siro.
Inter Milan have had some good news this week as Denzel Dumfries and Piotr Zielinski are both back in training. However, on the negative front, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alessandro Bastoni are ruled out due to suspension. Roma are only missing two players – Paulo Dybala and Victor Nelsson.
Inter Milan: Sommer – Pavard, Acerbi, Augusto – Zalewski, Calhanoglu, Frattesi, Barella, Dimarco – Thuram, Martinez.
Roma: Svilar – Celik, Mancini, Ndicka – Saelemaekers, Paredes, Cristante, Kone, Angelino – Soule, Dovbyk.
