Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 15 home games against Tottenham in all competitions

Liverpool need just a point to be crowned Premier League champions when Tottenham Hotspur visit Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

If Spurs are to delay the Reds’ title celebrations, they’ll have to do something they haven’t achieved since 2011. The Lilywhites have forgettable memories of their modern visits to Anfield, and Ange Postecoglou’s side recently succumbed to a 4-0 defeat in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.

The visitors have little interest in spoiling Liverpool’s big day out on Sunday, with their eyes firmly set on Bodo/Glimt and next week’s Europa League semi-final first leg.

Arne Slot is on the brink of guiding the Reds to their 20th league title, which will draw them level with Manchester United’s record haul. After Arsenal dropped more points to Crystal Palace in midweek, Liverpool merely need to avoid defeat in front of their fans on Sunday to confirm the inevitable.

Slot has close to a full cohort of players available for this weekend’s clash, with Joe Gomez the only player likely to miss out through injury.

The defender could return before the end of the season, Slot confirmed in his pre-match press conference.

There’s bound to be a double change at full-back, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson likely to reunite at Anfield for Spurs’ visit.

Liverpool predicted lineup vs Tottenham (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Diaz.

Spurs are prioritising Thursday’s first leg against Bodo/Glimt, so starting centre-backs Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, both of whom played 45 minutes on Monday night, could find themselves on the bench at Anfield.

Destiny Udogie, Dejan Kulusevski, Rodrigo Bentancur, Lucas Bergvall and Dominic Solanke are also likely to be preserved for the Norwegian side’s visit.

Radu Dragusin is a long-term absentee, while Son Heung-min won’t be risked due to a foot injury.

Tottenham predicted lineup vs Liverpool (4-3-3): Vicario; Porro, Danso, Davies, Spence; Bissouma, Sarr, Maddison; Johnson; Richarlison, Tel.
