Chelsea have won their last two in the League and need to stay in good form

Chelsea will be hoping Liverpool have a hangover from their Premier League title party as the Blues look to stay on track for a Champions League place by beating the new kings of England.
Arne Slot’s men needed just a point to seal the deal last weekend at Anfield but finished the job in style with a 5-1 win over Spurs, bringing up one of Sunday’s Super Singles and a bet for a Slips Tips.
The celebrations were epic and the Reds can now relax and enjoy their final four games with all of the pressure off.
The same can’t be said for Chelsea as Enzo Maresca’s men are chasing UEFA Conference League glory and a top-five finish in the Premier League.
There’s little margin for error with things so tight in the table and I’d imagine Maresca will field his strongest side for this one, even though it falls between both legs of their Euro semi-final with Djurgarden.
Chelsea have won their last two in the Premier League and need to stay in good form as they have some tricky closing fixtures.
They’ve still to face Newcastle and Nottingham Forest, two of their rivals for a top-five finish, so taking down the champions would give the Blues a big boost.
Liverpool have won their last three games against Chelsea after the seven meetings before that all ended in draws. You have to go back to 2021 for the last Blues victory in this fixture.
Chelsea are set to be without Malo Gusto, Wesley Fofana, Omari Kellyman, Marc Guiu and Aaron Anselmino. Liverpool have a pretty clean bill of health, with just Conor Bradley and Joe Gomez sidelined.
Chelsea: Sanchez, James, Colwill, Chalobah, Cucurella, Caicedo, Lavia, Fernandez, Palmer, Neto, Jackson.
Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Gravenberch, Gakpo, Diaz, Salah.
