The London giants endured a disastrous campaign last season, finishing only tenth and missing out on European football altogether. They made a winning start this time around, but in their most recent matches they have beaten only Leeds, in the League Cup, alongside two defeats and a draw in the Premier League. Before the international break, they suffered a 0-3 defeat to their neighbors Brentford.
The club from Dean Court finished sixth with 57 points. However, the architect of that success, Iraola, moved to Liverpool. His replacement, Rösler, guided the team past Lincoln City in the League Cup, while in the Europa League the English side secured an away win over Real Sociedad. But they are still without a Premier League victory: just three draws and two defeats. In the most recent round, they lost to their former manager, going down 0-1 to Liverpool.
The capital club’s stars score an average of two goals per game, while conceding 2.4. Evanilson and his teammates have scored 1.2 goals and conceded 1.6 per match.
