Napoli have a good recent record against Fiorentina and have won 22 out of the last 43 matches played

Napoli take on Fiorentina at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Serie A, knowing that a win could put them at the top of the table, depending on Inter Milan’s result.
They are currently in second place behind Inter, and are also second-favourites to win Serie A with bookmakers behind the league leaders.
However, if they are to have any chance, Napoli must improve their current form. Indeed, they are winless in five league games, interestingly drawing four of those. Before that, they had won seven consecutive matches in Serie A.
Fiorentina’s form has been even worse though, losing four of their five previous matches in all competitions. That includes a 3-2 defeat away to Panathinaikos in the first leg of their Europa League (UEL) last-16 tie in Greece in midweek.
As such, Napoli have had plenty more rest and recovery going into this one, and with home advantage and a superior league position as well, perhaps they should be expecting to win.
Napoli recorded an impressive 3-0 win at Fiorentina in the reverse fixture in Serie A in January. Romelu Lukaku got himself a goal and assist, with David Neres and Scott McTominay also getting on the scoresheet.
Frank Anguissa, Pasquale Mazzocchi and Neres, who scored in the reverse fixture, are all sidelined with injury for Napoli.
Nicolo Zaniolo and Rolando Mandragora are suspended for Fiorentina, while Marin Pongracic, Andrea Colpani and Michael Folorunsho, who is on loan from Napoli, are all injury doubts.
