The last game between these two teams ended in a 1-0 win for Al Nassr

Al Nassr will be back in the AFC Champions League Elite action as they will visit the Azadi Sports Complex to take on Esteghlal FC in an unmissable encounter.
The visitors finished third in their group (B) in the league phase of the competition and accumulated 17 points. The Knight of Najd lost 2-1 against Al Orobah in their last game and will look to bounce back with a win.
Esteghlal FC, on the other hand, finished sixth in group B of the competition and accumulated nine points with two wins, three draws, and three losses. The hosts are having a lackluster season in the Iran Pro League, currently placed 9th in the competition. They ended their league phase with a win over Al Rayyan and will look to build on that momentum.
Alireza Koushki (Esteghlal FC)
The Iranian forward is coming into this game in great form as he has scored in the last two consecutive games. He is known for his dynamic and direct playing style. He is a constant threat to his opponents.
He can operate equally well on both flanks. Fans will expect a great performance from him against a difficult opposition.
Cristiano Ronaldo (Al Nassr)
Cristiano has mentioned on many occasions that age is just a number for him and he has proved it time and time again. He has already scored six goals in five appearances for Al Nassr in this competition this season and is showing no signs of slowing down. Ronaldo is considered to be the best UEFA Champions League player of all time by many and will be very motivated to leave his mark on the Asian version of the competition.
Mehrdad Mohammadi, Abolfazl Jalali, and Masoud Juma will be unavailable for the home side.
Al Nassr on the other hand will be without the likes of Sami Al-Najei and Otávio due to their respective injuries.
