France and Belgium clash this Monday at the Stade de France of the Nations League. The match will be broadcast live at 19:45 on Amazon Prime.
France currently have 7 points and lie in 1st position. In their last outing, France’s national team drew 1-1 against Italy (Nations League A 2026/27).
Belgium have picked up 6 points and currently lie in 2nd position. Last time out, Mark van Bommel’s team triumphed 3-0 against Turkey (Nations League A 2026/27).
The last meeting between the two teams ended with France winning 1-0.
France were on course for a third consecutive victory following another goal from Michael Olise, but Alessandro Bastoni had other ideas. Nevertheless, Les Bleus remain unbeaten in the group and are on course for another appearance in the play-offs.
Given that they have suffered just one defeat in an official home match over the last three years, everything points to a positive result and finishing the international break at the top of the group.
Belgium returned to winning ways with a classic 3-0 victory over Turkey, although it was far from their best performance in terms of play. As a result, they will now travel to Paris without their key midfield duo.
Kevin De Bruyne and Youri Tielemans were both shown yellow cards and will miss this match due to accumulated yellows. Given that three of Belgium’s five goals so far have come through them, this will make the Red Devils’ task much more difficult.
