There isn’t a team in better current form than Roma in italian league

There isn’t a team in better current form than Roma in Serie A and the fact they remain in 9th place shows how bad their overall performance this season has been. Claudio Ranieri’s men have an incredible opportunity to extend their streak against Monza.
Apart from the two recent away losses to Milan in Coppa Italia and AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League, Roma have been almost errorless since the start of the year.
Speaking specifically about Serie A, the Wolves are unbeaten in nine consecutive games, of which they won six. Their home form is of the utmost importance. Roma still have problems away from home, but dominate almost every opponent whenever they play at Stadio Olimpico.
During the week, they punished Porto 3-1 in the Europa League and last weekend, they came to a draw with Napoli. All in all, Roma have been an absolute hegemon at home since Raniero’s arrival, conceding just one loss to Atalanta in their first home game after his appointment. Since then, Roma have eight wins in nine games, with a goal difference of 27:6 in that period.
Monza, on the other hand, are moving boldly towards relegation from Serie A after spending three seasons in the elite.
The team simply cannot compete with the rest of the table this season, as they find themselves at the bottom of the standings and a full nine points away from salvation. Only Lecce have scored fewer goals than them, and defensively they also rank among the league’s weakest. Monza have just one win in their last 10 games, losing as many as eight of them.
Monza made their Serie A debut less than three seasons ago and have only played five games against Roma. Unfortunately, they don’t have a win against Wolves so far. Roma won three of the five meetings, although the last one earlier in the season ended at 1-1.
