Napoli will host Genoa in hopes of extending their winning streak as they enter the photo-finish of the season in Serie A, chasing their second title in three years.
While things haven’t looked that great for Napoli’s title chances a few weeks ago, Inter Milan’s poor form in the league allowed the team from Naples to take the top spot in the standings.
They enter the game with Genoa on a four-game winning streak and with a three-point cushion over Inter in the title race, so their fans are certainly excited as they can see the finish line with three rounds left in the season.
Meanwhile, Genoa have lost three games in a row heading into this match, but they aren’t too worried about this poor run since they’re stuck in the lower half of the standings but without any danger of relegation.
With three wins in the last five meetings with Genoa, along with a couple of draws, Napoli have dominated this matchup lately.
Considering they’ve consistently been at the top of Serie A standings in the past few years, it makes sense that they’ve done much better than Genoa in their recent duels.
David Neres, Juan Jesus, and Alessandro Buongiorno are out with injuries for Napoli, while Stanislav Lobotka is listed as questionable for this match.
When it comes to Genoa, they remain without Fabio Miretti, Ruslan Malinovskyi, and Maxwel Cornet since they are still injured, while Morten Thorsby is suspended for this game.

Genoa: Leali, Sabelli, De Winter, Vasquez, Martin, Frendrup, Masini, Norton-Cuffy, Messias, Vitinha, Pinamonti
