Inter will once again use the experienced players in the squad to compete in the league

Inter Milan came very close last season to winning the Serie A and Champions League, but eventually they ended up trophyless under Simone Inzaghi. Napoli won the league in the last game, and Inter missed out on getting their hands on the trophy. They have brought in Cristian Chivu as their new head coach and will now host Torino in their first league game of the season.

They suffered a heavy defeat in the Champions League final, and now, under the new coaching staff, the fans and club management will hope to achieve their objectives. The Nerazzurri are a side who are defensively solid and are a well-balanced team. They haven’t done a lot of business in the transfer window.

They will once again use the experienced players in the squad to compete in the league. There is a lot of hope in the fanbase. The team will look to start their new campaign with a win at home.

Torino have been a team that has become stagnant in the mid-table in Serie A. They will need to seek improvement this year. Marco Baroni is the man in charge of the team, and surely he is very capable of helping the team to get to new heights.

Even though their record at San Siro is very poor, they will hope to at least get a point from this fixture to start their season positively. This will be a mouthwatering clash for sure.

Match Facts

  • Over 1.5 goals have been scored in the most recent matches of both teams
