Sunderland have failed to win in two of their last five matches

The Etihad giants encountered a number of problems last season, finishing only third in the Premier League. This year, there have also been quite a few setbacks, and they are falling further behind Arsenal, although they still defeat most opponents.

That includes Fulham, although they turned a 1-5 into a 4-5! In the Champions League, there were far fewer slip-ups – only Monaco managed to snatch a draw. But in the last round against Bayer, they actually lost 0-2.

Le Bris arrived at the “Stadium of Light” last summer. And, even though it was via the play-offs, he ensured his side’s promotion from the Championship. Moreover, at a long-forgotten level, his charges started the season excellently, remaining among the Premier League leaders up to November. But after the international break, they lost to Fulham. However, they then beat Bournemouth 3-1. Against Liverpool, they dropped a couple of points, conceding in the final moments to make it 1-1.

Bernardo Silva and his teammates average 2.2 goals scored and concede 1.14 per game. The Premier League newcomers still have a positive goal difference: 1.29 goals scored per game and one conceded.
