Manchester United have won two out of their last seven matches

The club from Turf Moor is turning into a “yo-yo team.” Under Kompany, they were promoted from the Championship right after being relegated, but couldn’t hold on in the Premier League. With Parker, they are following a similar path. They confidently won promotion, but in the top flight, the players look toothless. After a couple of draws, they again lost to both Newcastle and Brighton.

Manchester United did not salvage last season’s 15th place finish in the Premier League, even with their European exploits. Amorim, who arrived after the campaign had begun, took his new team to the Europa League final, where they lost to Tottenham. The autumn was marked by a League Cup exit, losing to modest Grimsby. In the league, they still fail to win even half their matches. After a rather unexpected 1-0 win over Newcastle, they only managed draws against Wolverhampton and Leeds. After yet another loss of points, the manager was sacked.

The newly-promoted outsider averages one goal scored per match but concedes 1.95. Bruno Fernandes and his teammates score 1.7 goals on average but concede 1.5 per game.
