59% of Burnley’s matches end with both teams scoring and an average total goals per match of 2.95

The club from Turf Moor under Parker is repeating what happened with Kompany as manager. He dominated the Championship last season after being relegated there. But once again, the team is almost toothless in the Premier League. Two-thirds of matches are lost, and survival chances are becoming frankly remote. Although there was a draw against Liverpool, and in the Cup they achieved a big win over Millwall, 5-1.

In London, last season was also ambiguous—a Europa League win with a 17th place finish domestically. This season, with Frank, little has changed. The team performs well in European competitions, though the UEFA Super Cup was given away to PSG after leading 2-0.

But in the Champions League, they have only lost to them. In the last round, they beat Borussia 2-0, but the Germans were quickly reduced to ten men. Yet in the League Cup, they lost early to Newcastle. Last week, they lost 1-2 at home to Aston Villa in the cup. And in the Premier League, after a decent start, they reached mid-winter in the lower part of the table. Even against West Ham, they left without points—another defeat!

The promoted outsider averages 1.05 goals scored and concedes 1.91. The capital giant has a positive ratio, despite a rather modest place in the table: 1.41 scored per game, 1.32 conceded.
